..............................

Being Yousei Teikoku fan, this album is a definite must for me. Was waiting for this album since the day Yousei Teikoku previewed Asgard on her site (awsm song really). Needless to say, Asgard and Keep Existing are my favorite songs (who wouldn't have guessed that). Yozuca's song isn't that bad either.
Too bad the game (fortissimo//Akkord:Bsusvier) is such a letdown despite all the hypes. Blame the OP/ED for that.

Next: Asriel's 11th album on 31th Oct, looking forward to that :3

Fall 2010 anime series - the impressions [Part 3]

And, the final part of my Fall 2010 anime impression. Was taking this long partly because I was planning to watch at least 2 episodes of each series before making my verdict, and unfortunately it was not until today that proper Hakuouki 2's sub was released.

Part 1
Part 2

Arakawa Under the Bridge x Bridge
MAL/Official Site
Genre: comedy, romance
Number of episodes: 13
Studio Production: SHAFT
Comments: SHAFT SHAFT SHAFT SHAFT SHAFT. Arakawa, season 2, now with even weirder creatures added to the already impressive list of extraterrestrial creatures residing under the Arakawa Bridge. Pretty much the continuation of the first season which ended back then in July, while maintaining the same artwork, main characters as well as those funny jokes :3
Verdict: 3/5 (watching)

Hakuouki Hekketsuroku
MAL/Official Site
Genre: action, drama, supernatural, historical
Number of episodes:12
Studio Production: DEEN
Comments: One of the show that I'm anticipating the most this Fall. The first season received a very mixed reviews, but I know I am among those that really like the series. The Shinsengumi, driven out by the foreigner's prowess at the end of season 1, are back in Edo and are planning to restore the Shogunate's power with the help of modern technologies (less swords, more guns). As the story goes, one might think that the plot lost its original focus (about Yukimura's father and the oni/rasetsu etc), yet suddenly at one point every piece strings together, which made the story more interesting (at least for me). Anyway, it's cool to see that now everyone in western outfits, I certainly would love to see Yukimura in such clothes too :3 I certainly can't wait for more battles featuring the Oni-samurais, as seen in the (awesome) OP.
For some reason I feel that there's a gap separating the end of episode 1 and the start of Hekkketsuroku. Come to think of it, it looks like there's episode 00 aired before the start of season 2..
Verdict: 5/5 (absolutely must watch)

Shinryaku! Ika Musume
MAL/Official Site
Genre: comedy, slice of life
Number of episodes: 13
Studio Production: Diomedea
Comments: One of the funniest shit I've ever watched in recent years. Glad to see that the list of comedy series that kept me laughing never end, from Working! in Summer, Mitsudomoe! in Spring, and now this in Fall. Nevermind the manga, I find the anime adaptation extremely entertaining (and nicely adapted). The childish/dumb/naive/ignorant nature of Ika Musume (plus that puchline) with her plan to invade the humanity was very cute and amusing. Nonetheless, this is the show that I would definitely not going to miss, for the comedy value-de geso.
p/s: a certain magical...squidgirl.
Verdict: 5/5 (absolutely must watch)

Tegami Bachi Reverse
MAL/Official Site
Genre: action, fantasy, comedy, drama
Number of episodes: 13
Studio Production: Studio Pierrot
Comments: Another sequel I've long awaited for. As any other sequel, the story really won't make much sense unless we watched the first season. Now that lag has found the clue about Gauche, he now must find a way to bring Gauche back to his sense (aka restoring his lost heart), and looking at the length of this second season, it looks like (hopefully) the story won't be clouded with fillers (and unnecessary tears...lol). Great animation by Studio Pierrot as usual, while Niche always made me laugh with her antic, along with Sylvette's awesome soup. Tegami Bachi Reverse goes without saying, went straight into my watchlist :3
Verdict: 4.5/5 (must watch)

To Aru Majutsu no Index II
MAL/Official Site
Genre: action, comedy, drama, sci-fi
Number of episodes: 13
Studio Production: J.C. Staff
Comments: God knows how long has its been since the last time we saw Touma being animated (I'm more keen toward Index than Railgun after all). Watching the first 2 episode, it looks like this 2nd season will first ventured into volume 7 of the novels, although the real story only started at the end of that episode. Good to see that the regular familiar characters returned for action - the Touma, the Index, the Misaka, the Necessarius.... well, except Accelerator. The animation doesn't changed much (and still with the awesome visual effects and bgms). Nice OP, but I love the ED even more (Kurosaki Maon ftw) :3
Verdict: 4/5 (watching)

That's all for me for this Fall season, i guess. These sure are a lot of series in my watchlist (15 just for this season) and I was even considering to put some on hold. But considering I would submit honours thesis by the end of this month (which happened to be next week) and am slightly more free until the end of the year, I guess this number of show is manageable.

Trinity Universe - When the World Drift

Since I've finished my final seminar last week, I decided to relieve some stress by playing a few games I purchased a few weeks ago. After awhile, I find myself hooked to Trinity Universe, and so far, the game gave me a pretty good impression.

Trinity Universe is a console role-playing game, co-developed by Nippon Ichi Software, Idea Factory and Gust Corporation exclusively for the PlayStation 3. The game features characters from the Atelier and Disgaea series from Gust Corporation and Nippon Ichi Software respectively, with fully 3D character models for the first time.
Developers: Nippon Ichi Software, Gust Corporation, Idea Factory
Platform: PlayStation 3 (PS3)

Genre: RPG

Release date: Oct 2009 (JP); June 2010 (ENG)

Briefly, the game took place somewhere called Netheruniverse, where a mass of floating land become the center of drifting object coming from all over the universe - and this object can be anything - UFO/Chocolate Donut/Fridge/Meteorite/Bonsai, and even a whole mini-Galaxy, circulating in their orbit around the Netheruniverse. As days gone by, the number of this drifting object increase, which eventually might endanger the people.

Sounds pretty ridiculous, but also funny at the same time. Upon starting a new game, we can choose to play in the male route, the Demon Dog King Kanata, or the female route, the Valkyrie Rizelea. To be honest I am very tempted to play as Rizelea first, but my principle is always saving the best for last, hence I went for Kanata's route on my first playthrough.

I'm only in chapter 4 at the moment, and tbh I don't know how different are the kanata/Rizelea route. But both of them did met each other early in the game. As Kanata who was supposed to be a Demon God King, a failed ritual turned him into a Demon "Dog" King, and his route took him into various adventures through the floating objects around the Netheruniverse (yes, some of those drifting objects have dungeons for you to explore).

Gameplay-wise, Trinity Universe employs the basic turn-based system where each character takes turn to attack by pressing X, Tringle and Square to execute combos. But there's more to that for the gameplay, like fury chain, super combo, Image Gauge and EX Skills which only makes sense if you played the game yourself.

Trinity Universe gameplay demonstration

The dungeons in general are pretty small, hence making exploration less tedious. While exploring, you can use special ability to detect hidden treasures or monster nest, and clearing those nests effectively eliminate the random encounter in the dungeon (which is a good thing). Other than that, you can also look for Object Gravity Core, which is the thing that stabilise the object from drifting away. Your objective is to destroy this core so that they drift away, hence less floating object around Netheruniverse. The world outside battle revolves around you exploring the drifting object, and you need to do it fast because unless unchored, the floating object can drift away from their orbit and you might not have the chance to explore them again. Some of the dungeon also allows you to recruit additional characters, which seems to be the requirement to get good ending.

The game also features characters from previous Gust and Nippon Ichi characters, in particular Etna, Prinny and Flonne from Disgaea series. Nicely drawn, and their personality was pretty interesting too. I kept on thinking about Nakano Azusa whenever Tsubaki speak, mainly because they share the same seiyuu, and somehow I thought she'd look like Azusa if she tied her hair lol. Music-wise, there's not much for me to comment, but I loooooooove Shimotsuki Haruka's Cosmolagoon song in the main universe window : D

Overall, I find the game pretty fun to play. The ridiculousness of this so-called Netheruniverse with all the drifting object and the comedies never failed to amuse me. There are some problems, like the static character gestures in cutscenes and the troublesome camera angles during dungeon, but other aspects of the game, from the beautiful character art, nice gameplay and humors kept me enjoyed.

Fall 2010 anime series - the impressions [Part 2]

Continued from Part 1 of my Fall 2010 anime impressions.

Bakuman
MAL/Official Site
Genre: Comedy, Romance, Shounen
Number of episodes
: 25
Studio Production: J.C. Staff
Comments: Thanks to the familiar mangaka/writer pairing of Takeshi Obata and Tsugumi Ohba, Bakuman become one of the very few manga that I actually follow after my hdd crash incident. Couldn't get any better, now that it has been adapted into anime. Briefly summarised, the story tells the journey of 2 high school student, Moritaka Mashiro and Akito Takagi in their quest to create successful manga. The story itself was quite interesting (just shows you how determination matters in chasing your dream), and with J.C staff at the helm of production, ensure that the animation remained relatively good (especially since the character arts didn't changed much). One of my favorite show this season.
verdict: 4.5/5 (must watch)

Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai
MAL/Official Site
Genre: Comedy, Romance, Supernatural, School Life
Number of episodes
: 12
Studio Production: Manglobe
Comments: Aka The World God Only Knows. The story tells about Katsuragi Keima who has mastered the art of capturing girls..in galge. But thank's to his overconfidence, he's now contracted with a demon girl Elcea to try to capture runaway spirits hiding in girl's heart, and that's by making those girls fall in love with him. So most episode/girl's arc will follow the same formula where Keima will try to make a selected girl fall in love with him using all the experienced he learnt from galge, and the kiss to release the soul. It's refreshing to see a story offering something different like Kaminomi, simulating galge's situation to real life experience. Good to see that so far the series doesn't changed much than in the manga, while maintaining the comedies value. The thought that Keima's seiyuu is the same as Yabecchi (Mitsudomoe) and Youchi (Bakatest) is enough to make me laugh, especially when he get annoyed seeing Elcea's screwing things up repeatedly.
p/s: PFP = playfap portable
Verdict: 4/5 (watching)

Soredemo Machi wa Mawatteiru
MAL/Official Site
Genre: Comedy, Slice of Life
Number of episodes: 12
Studio Production: SHAFT
Comments: A comedy show made by SHAFT, now with maid-cafe. They never failed to amuse me, the humour really made me laugh throughout the episode (although I find episode 2 less funny). The unique, shaft-exclusive animation style become more and more familiar as the episode went on. The ED song in particular was awesome. The only thing that slightly turned me off is Arashiyama's voice (Omigawa Chiaki), which I can never get used to since her P-ko in Arakawa. Nevertheless, I'm always in for the laugh :3
p/s: Arashiyama somehow remind me to Fuka (Yotsubato)
verdict: 3.5/5 (watching)

Hyakka Ryouran: Samurai Girls
MAL/Official Site
Genre: Action, Comedy, Romance, Ecchi
Number of episodes
: 12
Studio Production: ARMS
Comments: Hyakka Ryouran, a show featuring high school students inheriting Sengoku character names. The Pros: Awesome drawn cell-shaded animation, albeit sometimes a bit messy (thanks to those squid inks). The Cons - the same old recycled female-based Sengoku theme with some twists added. The art was really impressive, but the story doesn't appeal me that much. Plus those squid ink censoring was annoying, so I might consider waiting for DVD release, or ATX version.
p/s: long time since I heard Kugimiya as one of the main character.
verdict: 2.5/5 (will watch some more)

Super Robot Taisen OG: The Inspector
MAL/Official Site
Genre: Mecha, ecchi
Number of episodes: 26
Studio Production: Asahi Production
Comments: I'm not a mecha maniac, in fact I never watched any of the previous SRW series to understand how the friction started between Federation and DC, the L5 events, the ATX/SRX team, alien invasion, and everything that leads the story to this point at the start of episode 1. But one thing for sure, the design of the mechas are just too awesome for me to resist. So I guess you could say that I'm watching this for the mecha action.... and boobs.
verdict: 3/5 (watching)

Fall 2010 anime series - the impressions [Part 1]

The obligatory post at the start of new seasons. This season is no different than the past seasons, despite the mounting honours works that I need to complete by the end of this month. In fact, I find myself watching even more number of series than last season -_-

Since there's a lot of series in my watchlist, I decided to split it into 3 parts.

Otome Youkai Zakuro
MAL/Official Site
Genre: Action, romance, supernatural
Number of episodes: 13
Studio Production: J.C Staff
Comments: Somewhere in Meiji period, much prejudices were directed toward spirits/youkai, however efforts have been made to make it possible for human and spirit to co-exist, and it's down to selected army lieutenants teaming up with half-youkai girls to carry this task. If you ask me, the musical fights is the weirdest (or unique, you judge) thing about this show, although in the end I find those songs calming. The character arts might be off for my taste and the the plot is also somehow predictable, but in general it's not a bad show to watch, and also amusing at times. I like Zakuro as a character, it sure is fun to watch her raging toward Agemaki :3 Her voice also kinda matched her tsundere personality.
p/s: Reimu
verdict: 3/5 (watching)

MM!
MAL/Official Site
Genre: Comedy, romance
Number of episodes: 12
Studio Production: Xebec
Comments: A show with a masochist (hardcore) who tried to cure his severe condition, a cross-dresser who's proud with his beauty, an androphobic girl with bad experience with mean, and a semi-violent senior with superiority complex, but can be kind at times. Quite ironic for a man named Sado to be a maso, huh? Coming from Xebec, the art similarity with the likes of Kanokon/Toradora etc was pretty obvious. Seeing the first episode is all about Sado showcasing his extreme conditions, at first I was kinda hesitant to continue watching, but things looked better in episode 2 (I'm in for the comedy), so I guess it's not a bad show to put in my watchlist.
p/s: Jun Fukuyama, again? Busy schedule this season.
Verdict: 3.5/5 (watching)

Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai
MAL/Official Site
Genre: Comedy
Number of episodes:
12
Studio Production: AIC
Comments: One of the show I'm looking forward to this season, for obvious reason. I only read a bit of reading through the novel (and manga) a few month back), which pretty much summed what I saw int he first 2 episodes afaic (shitstorm coming). Although the concept is similar with Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu, overall OreImo gave me better impressions, seeing how Kirino trying hard to be herself, while Kyosuke also trying his best to help his little sister, in many ways. The culture shock expression on Kyosuke's face when he found Kirino's collection and when he visited the stores are priceless. Enjoyable show with lots of amusing moments (added with strings of delicious seiyuus), a definite in my watchlist :3
p/s: why must otaku always linked with some mahou shoujo series?
Verdict: 4.5/5 (must watch)

Shinrei Tantei Yakumo
MAL/Official Site
Genre: Mystery, supernatural
Number of episodes: 13
Studio Production: Bee train
Comments: Finally a show that's really relevant to my interest. Mysterious supernatural events occurring in each episode, and it's up to the main character, Yakumo Saitou to solve them thanks to his left eye ability to see ghost and spirits, while the main heroine, Haruka Ozawa kept tagging along despite being coldly treated by Yakumo. The first 2 episodes so far seems to use the same style in which mysterious event occurred, followed by some detective play and Yakumo deduce things to solve the case. Kinda typical for a mystery/detective show, but I like how the show went so far. Nicely animated, and some of the bgms were awesome.
p/s: Yakumo and Haruka remind me to Luke and Cecilia (Sacred Blacksmith), more so because Haruka's seiyuu :3
Verdict: 5/5 (absolute must)

Yosuga no Sora
MAL/Official Site
Genre: drama, romance
Number of episodes
: 13
Studio Production: feel.
Comments: This seems to be your average school life/drama/romance harem show. As an adult VN adaptation, I kinda expect some sort of fanservices to be added, although not the explicit tits as shown in the first episode. Added to that is some twincest, yuri, a bit of plot twist I think feel. studio did a nice job animating this show, given this is their full project. Love the Clannad/True Tears feeling that the OP song gave, thanks to Eufonius. Nevertheless, the scenery and characters were beautifully drawn (remind me of True Tears+Onegai Twins), and although the story develops rather slow and a bit predictable, but overall I do enjoy the 2 episodes I've watched so far.
p/s: the last scene from episode 1 is so deceiving!
Verdict: 3/5 (watching)

Valkyria Chronicles II - The Concluding Remarks

After roughly a month of playing, I was finally able to finish Valkyria Chronicles 2...literally. Completed the main storyline (from January till December story missions), although there are a lot of awesome post-game contents to be explored. I've tried a few post-game missions and stuff, and although not much new features were added, the extra missions were more challenging and somehow made the game even more interesting :)

Overall, my final impression toward Valkyria Chronicles II:

In term of story (which I'd best not spoil), I'd say Valkyria Chronicles 1 is better than Valkyria Chronicles 2, but in term of character likability, VC2 wins for me. I am personally more fond with the likes of Cosette, Aliasse, Anisette, Juliana, Marian in VC2 than Alicia, Selvaria and Isara in VC1. Oh except Edy, she's just too awesome :3 Not to mention, other classmates in Squad G are also interesting. Lotte with her "DUDES", Melissa with her hardcore stalk, Sofia the man-hater, the incredibly lucky Joachim, the double-faced vice-president of student council Randy, the unexpected "sibling" of Franca/ Nichol, and much more.

Overall I really like the improvement made from previous VC1 gameplay. Lots of new features made battle much easier to plan and execute, especially the fact that you can call and standby your unit within the same turn. Addition of specialized class also made things more interesting. With Medic, you can instantly revive fallen allies. With Gunner, you can take out enemies that try to capture your bases. With Anthem Corp, you can boost your stats... immensely (no joke). With Mortarer you can take out enemies that are stupid enough to stay close to each other.

On the other hand, it kinda saddened me that we still can't utilize the power of Valkyria in battles. Despite that, having the "Valkyria" potential coupled with "Mysterious Body" within that person do make a difference in battle (awesome potentials). Too bad that all Valkyria are scouts, which made their usefulness in battle rather limited (mostly just to tag bases).

At some points, the game can be quite annoying especially when it comes to farming credits and certificates to upgrade your character's class. The randomness in which credits were given after each missions was so unpredictable that it made class switching a pain in the ass. In the end, what I did was sticking with the same 20 characters in my fixed group and used this same group in each and every missions. Over time, the random credits received accumulate and I managed to upgrade most of them to tier 3 Class in no time.

People say that Fencer is overpowered, but I thought Commandos are much more OP. Great AP, high HP and defence, and then those imbalanced Flamethrower... Yes its true that Fencer Elite can 1-hit kill most enemies, but their AP is so low that I made it hard for them to excel in large battlefield. I personally only have 1 Fencer in my fixed 20-units group, mostly to defend bases from those annoying V2s. This might change when I do more post-game mission, but until then, my opinion doesn't change.

The unlockables, especially additional combat characters are awesome. You can get Selvaria, Isara, Edy (!), Alicia, Welkin and many other characters from the original Valkyria Chronicles to join your squad. You can even unlock Emilia (Phantasy Star Portable 2's main heroines) to add to your luxury collections :3 If only they have their own side-story...

Nevertheless, I certainly would love to see an anime adaptation of VC2, and it would be immensely great if they would also include each of the classmate's story, maybe as a small mini episodes.

game evaluation:

Story - 6.5
Characters - 9
Graphic - 8.5
Gameplay - 8.5
Quests - 7
Replay value - 8

Final rating: 8/10 (must play for jrpg fans)

RD's Replay of the Month - October

World Dota Cup (WDC)
is fast approaching, with more and more qualifier games being played. Among others, LGD and EHOME met each other in WDC China Qualifier (robin round, top 4 out of 8 teams will qualify to grand final), a historic match played on the historic days of 10/10/10 that tells 1001 stories about the strength of Chinese DotA. PURE EPICNESS!

Events: World Dota Cup China Qualifiers
Maps/version: Dota-allstars 6.68c, version 1.24B
GameMode: -cm
Length: 109:55 minutes

replay download: [gosugamers]

rating: ********** (intense)

One sentence for me to summarize this game - LENGTHY BUT EPIC! Although you might see the outcome, you really can't tell which team is going to win even in the last 5 minutes of the game. Watching the game live on Neotv, I have to say that the intensity of the game really got through me, and even the people at gosugamers went madness over the streamed game. So intense and epic, that's all I could say.

The tide of the game kept on swinging from one side to another. LGD started the game convincingly, gaining 10-1 kill advantage by 25th minute mark while getting 5 of scourge's outer tower. EHOME however maintained their composure to get quick roshan kills and get their asses back into the game. EHOME finally got their advantage when they managed to push and get LGD's mid rax, and by that point it looks like EHOME will make a comeback and win this. But a few KEY buybacks from YYF's Storm (more of this below) kept LGD in the game and they eventually managed to get EHOME's mid rax, nullifying the opponent's rax advantage. But in the end on this epic game, Burning's Shadow Fiend and Dai's Sniper get overly fed, and with virtually no pure dps hero on sentinel, LGD can only watch helplessly as EHOME pounced their Tree...

Some interesting points about this game:
  • MVP: YYF's Storm, despite being on the losing side. "THAT" moments in 57 and 76 minutes are totally youtube-material. Died, buybacks, killed 1 heroes, died, BUYBACK again, killed another 1, died, then BUYBACK again, killed another 2 heroes, ULTRA KILL. I jizz in my pants.
  • The power of KingJ. Who would have thought that a venomancer can out-cs ZSMJ's Necrolyte 1v1? 5 minutes in, veno had 25 cs compared to zsmj's 13. 12 minutes, veno had 63 compared with zsmj's 35. But in the end, ZSMJ is ZSMJ. By 16 minutes, zsmj's cs skyrocket to almost 80 (veno had stopped farming at this point), and almost reach 100 by 20 min =.=
  • Dai's knowledge about Dwarven Sniper, and dota mechanic in general...questionable? I can't understand why he didn't turn off MKB's true strike because it totally renders his Headshot useless. In fact, none in sentinel had any sort of Evasion skill, even more reason to turn True Strike off.
Overall it was ohe heck of a game, and in my opinion it really deserved to be the replay of the month. Some people complained about the sheer farming that this game had, but hey, what can you expect when two of arguably the best DotA team in the world met? I find this game more fun to watch when the game was broadcasted live (along with shoutcast), but certainly a bit boring when watching the replay. To think this is just the qualifier, I wonder how will the real WDC going to be. Hopefully more epic games to come.

Don't get confused with the displayed game length, the game actually last only around 82 mins (which is also fairly long by today's standard). For those who wish to watch the replay, it's better to watch at 3-4x speed, then back to 1x when teamclashes happened, and most importantly, don't miss YYF's epic moments in minute 57 and 76 minutes.
If you value intense game with epic teamfights and skill demonstration, then this is the game for you.

FIFA11 - the new revolution?

FIFA11 was the latest of FIFA series from EA Sports, released around Oct 28, 2010. Being one off the most anticipated game in my list, I managed to get my preorder a few days before it's released (Asia version) and the shipped items arrived at my home last Tuesday.

As usual, I took my time trying some if not most of the new features added in FIFA 11 (and more importantly, the must-play Career mode), and what I can comments so far:

The Pros
  • The Layout. Although I do think FIFA10 interface looks cooler, I think the new layout in FIFA11 was easier to to navigate through. Plus there are a lot of new options added. Now various type of referees were added, and each of them has different level of strictness. Additionally, you can set whether a handball is deemed a foul or not (full setting made it easier to get a penalty lol).
  • Career mode is awesome. They got a new interface and many additional features make it more realistic (really!). Now you can choose from being a player (that is, the Pro that you've created), a manager or even, Player-Manager. News headlines from other league were added so you're informed about what happened in other leagues.
  • Be a Pro evaluation is more lenient. Remember in FIFA 10 or older, every single action you did on the field is judged, from a perfect cross to missplaced pass which effect your rating significantly. Those rating bar didn't exist in fifa 11, as far as I concern. There's also no more game-to-game objective (like "Score a hatrick vs Chelsea", wtf), one of those annoying things in fifa10.
  • Transfer was processed similar to the real life, where you must first offer a certain price for a player that you want to buy, wait for them to agree then proceed with wage negotiation. Additionally, you can adjust your budget to lean more toward spending or wages. I just wish that they keep the option to upgrade your coaching staff, which didn't exist anymore : (
  • Now you can play as a goalkeeper. Hey, that's cool! But to be honest would any player actually play as a goalkeeper in a game? That's dead boring -_-
  • PC version use the same engine as the new-gen engine. No more of those crappy old FIFA that never change since 07, now PC player can definitely enjoy the same experience and excitement as those in 360/ps3 version did.

The Cons
  • Little to no improvement in gameplay, I mean the way you play on the field. I don't think I've seen any newer Skill Moves other than those I've seen in FIFA 10 (which in all honesty, was epic awesome). Though, the new passing moves only made it harder...for me. (more of that below).
  • It's harder to pass and make your way through the opponent's defense. I don't think I'm alone in this, but I find it hard to use the usual skills I often did in FIFA 10 to move the ball across the field. I've read somewhere that FIFA11 use new passing system, which explains this. I don't know about you, but I prefer the old system in fifa10, although it's kinda fun and challening with this new system in fifa11, especially when you're playing using a 1-star team... -_-
  • The loading time doesn't seem to improve. EA claim the loading time was shorter, but to be honest I didn't really notice the difference. In fact, I thought the loading and those warming up crap in Career mode only make things slower.

Overall I do find myself enjoying FIFA11, more so than the previous FIFA 10 thanks to the awesome additional stuff in Career mode. Recommended? I would say the same thing as one of my pal did - get the game if you're football fan who want something new from FIFA 10, but if you're a casual gamer who play football game for fun, then what's being offered in FIFA10 is enough to satisfy you.

*I think in the future I should make my first impression post short like this one
*
